CACI International General Security Specialist 2 (Secret) - Aberdeen Proving Ground in Aberdeen, Maryland

Job Description:

Under general supervision, support the CERDEC HQ Security Lead in the administration of policies, procedures, standards, training, and methods for identifying and protecting information, personnel, property, facilities, operations, or material from unauthorized disclosure, misuse, theft, assault, vandalism, espionage, sabotage, or loss.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Administers and coordinates the DOD, DOE, or other industrial security program and other security activities to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

Serves as one of the organization’s Security Specialist responsible for assisting with the planning, development, oversight, and implementation of policy, management, administration, evaluation and internal management control of all facets of security including personnel, physical, information, industrial, SCI and operations security. Supports government Team Lead with conducting required training, evaluations and inspections. Ensures that security programs comply with controlling regulations and directives. Assist with providing policy interpretation, and procedural guidance

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

A BA/BS degree with 3-5 years of experience preferred, or an AA degree / 2 year Tech School with 5 years of experience will be accepted as substitution for BA/BS.

Required Qualifications

Active Secret Clearance and be able to obtain a TS/SCI

Responsible for the planning, formulation, and development of security programs relative to physical security/force protection, personnel security, law enforcement, and security education and training.

Reviews and responds to inspection reports.

Develops and presents security briefings or training.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
