Job Summary

The Development Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Franchise Development Department.

Section A – Specific Responsibilities

Franchise Marketing Process

  • Assist DOs with Marketing campaigns

  • Work with the McKesson Canada and MSC Marketing manager on campaigns

  • Execute email blasts and fax outs using existing internal contact information

Franchise Development Process

Discovery Days

  • Manage all aspects of Discovery Day logistics

  • Send meeting request to presenters and prepare schedule

  • Advise staff of D-Days

  • Send confirmation and Qualifying Profile to candidate

  • Ensure receipt of booking document and all required information from Development Officers

  • Prepare Financial Considerations document and Disclosure document (if applicable)

  • Prepare EVP package

  • Prepare candidate’s package

  • Enter evaluation from candidate in Survey Monkey

  • Process expenses for reimbursement

  • Arrange catering

  • Maintain inventory of D-Day supplies

Administration

  • Book flights, hotels and car rentals for EVP

  • Coordinate EVP attendance at meetings, conferences, seminars

  • Coordinate Development Officers’ attendance at conferences and trade shows

  • Preparation of expense claims for EVP

  • Review of Development Officers expense claims

  • Handling queries from Development Officers

  • Update Reference/Training Binders for DC and DO

  • Scanning, printing, copying, and faxing documents as required

  • Open files and sub files for prospects, locations and new stores (paper and G drive)

  • Transfer franchisee files in event of resale or relocation (paper and G drive)

  • Ongoing maintenance of G Drive files

Documentation

  • Prepare and/or update documentation associated with the Development Department including: - Offer to Lease- Confidentiality Agreement- Letters of Intent- General Release (return of deposit)- Surveys- Pharmacy Information Sheets- Information Packages- Miscellaneous executive documents

Hand-Off Process

  • Manage the handoff process (schedule date/time)

  • Assemble all documentation required for the handoff and continuity meeting with Operations (CSA, OTL, demographics, profile, finance)

Reception

  • Cover reception for lunch break and ad hoc as required

Professional Development

  • Identify areas where lack of knowledge and skills are a barrier to successful performance.

  • Create a professional development plan.

  • Undertake self-directed and course based learning activities to ensure high performance.

  • Apply learning to the job.

Key Requirements

  • Formal Education: Completion of High School and completion of Post- Secondary in Business Administration, Office Administration or similar

  • 1 years of working in professional office environment
