AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Project Controls Engineer for immediate employment for the Albuquerque, NM office. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
Design, develop and implement project cost reporting to track monitor and control progress real time
Create cost proposals to client for multi-disciplinary team and companies (subs) for base, task order work and change order work
Create financial models, templates/ shells, analysis, etc.(proposal templates/shells, project time sheet templates, etc.)
Effectively capture, track and measure a broad range of project financial, budget & cost and other information to satisfy project and client reporting requirements
7+ years' experience working on large, complex and multi-year design and construction projects or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, skills, knowledge, abilities and experience
Detailed oriented with strong financial and analytical skills
Strong working knowledge of project set-up, including work breakdown structure/ job order costing
Knowledge and understanding of contract elements including but not limited to scope, schedule & budget, tracking of deliverables, insurance requirements, processing of invoices and purchase orders, including policy and procedures
Understanding of cost & schedule integration for reporting and analysis purposes
Experience with preparing and monitoring project scheduling activities
Significant experience with Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables etc.)
Experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Oracle, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, Access)
