AECOM has an opportunity for a
Work Control Specialist supporting our program in Alice Springs, Australia. The selected candidate will provide support, job planning, systems advice, trend and statistical analysis, and reporting capabilities for the OASIS contract
The Work Control Specialist (WCS) will need to develop an understanding and become proficient in the use of SAP as well as the maintenance methodologies that are practiced on site, as they are applied to planned maintenance, repairs, job orders, including preventive maintenance and reliability centered maintenance.
The WCS must be able to balance capacity planning with equipment and mission priorities to enable the most efficient use of resources.
Undertake trend and statistical analyses on maintenance and work functions performed for the site .
Provide technical and system (SAP) information and support to others as required.
Develop and maintain reporting of metrics and performance indicators as required.
Ensure a level of understanding of the maintenance methodologies used on the site.
Develop, maintain, and review maintenance task, work orders within the system to help provide an efficient and effective work force.
Work closely with requesters via the call centre and team leaders to assure timely resolution of requests.
Manage and monitor the timeliness and accuracy of the data entered into SAP.
Ensure compliance with all site environmental health and safety requirements.
Any other reasonable duties as requested.
3-5 years of relevant experience.
Must be able to obtain a Top Secret (TSPV) Department of Defence Security clearance of a Top Secret (US) security clearance.
Understanding of OH&S, EHS procedures.
Demonstrated experience in SAP, Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to change.
Demonstrated commitment to complete tasks and follow through.
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated ability to use initiative.
Demonstrated high attention to detail.

High degree of Emotional intelligence .

Comfortable with, and able to lead change in an organization.
Experience in working as part of a dedicated team.
Demonstrated ability to perform planning and scheduling of works to aid in the efficient and effective delivery of services.
Ability to understand, adopt and train people on the maintenance methodologies used on site (training provided).
Demonstrated, well-developed, communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop innovative solutions.
Demonstrated ability to plan future works in line with predicted operational requirements.
Demonstrated ability in the development of high quality reports and presentations, including statistics and trending details.
Understanding and commitment to the principles of workplace diversity and equity, and EH&S.
CPR training is preferred.
White card is preferred.
Prior First Aid training is preferred.
