Monsanto Licensing Product Development Manager EME in ANDARD, France
The Licensing Product Development Manager will be responsible for licensing channel product portfolio deployment (Corn, OSR) and for a subset of licenses.
He/she will participate to product licensing strategy and tactics. He/she will develop relationships with Technical Departments of licensees to generate demand. He/she will be responsible for ensuring adequate product portfolios in line with licensees needs.
Main responsibilities :
Licensing channel portfolio deployment;
Participates to the Product Advancement Process (RPM…) for the licensing channel to optimize portfolio development in conjunction with PM licensing,
Manages the testing – internal in relation with breeding and external with licensees – of the products in the licensing channel, from seed inventories to trial sets definitions,
Dispatches and distributes experimental seeds to licensees
Collects and analysis of results,
Creates Technical dossiers
Competitive intelligence, analyzes competition product performances across EU;
Customers; manages a subset of licensees to identify product needs, drive products presentation, suggest products allocations in coordination with CSI PM.Ensures that appropriate crop plans are implemented to supply seeds when required. Get a clear understanding of mid to long term business evolution.
Minimum a Master's degree in Agronomy
A minimum of 5 to 8 years’ experience in seed business i.e. Product Management, Technical Development, Licensing business
Fluent in English
Strong technical/business acumen.
Good understanding/knowledge of plant physiology and of seed industry in general
Excellent IT (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and capacity to adapt to inhouse softwares
