Cummins Inc. Administrative Assistant in Ankeny, Iowa
This position is responsible for performing general clerical duties to help all departments at the Engine Integration Center.
Endorse and comply with all Cummins Central Power’s Safety policies and initiatives.
Endorse and actively support Cummins Central Power’s Customer Support Excellence (CSE) efforts.
Assist material flow department in the timely closing of WIP.
Answer phones and assist walk in customers and visitors.
Accounts payable tracking using Telamon.
Ingoing and outgoing mail.
Coordinate internal purchases.
Planning and coordinating meetings.
Facilitating credit card and cash purchases.
Support accounting and internal controls requests.
Build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers.
(Preferred) Associates degree in accounting, finance, or related field
Engine parts knowledge is preferred but not required.
Computer literate in a Microsoft Windows environment.
Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and safety.
Must be a team contributor, detail oriented, and able to determine and set priorities to improve productivity while providing superior customer service to our customers
