Aetna Sales Support Consultant in Arlington, Texas

POSITION SUMMARY

Assist with the overall sales support process across all products for new and existing business in concert with field sales/service and/or customer teams in support of key performance measures for sales and retention. Provide sales database reports to support sales and retention initiatives and reporting requirements.

Fundamental Components:

Assist in development of customer sales strategies; Analyze competition and competitive position; Generates reports to identify potential sales opportunities, and increase sales and retention; Supports sales and retention initiatives by performing data analysis, account management monthly reporting, and database dashboards for Sales teams and management; Post sale activities; Confirm and communicate sold case specifics to internal Aetna parties, consultant and customer; Participate in contractual/installation activities; Represent area in interdepartmental meetings/projects; Training of other employees; May participate in meetings/presentations/site visits; Coordinate logistics; Prepare/coach participants; Develop presentation materials; Participate as presenter; Performs other related duties as assigned.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

Previous (2+ years) experience in sales or marketing, including sales support and business retention required

Effective time management and organizational skills required

Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills required

Strong communication and interpersonal skills required

Healthcare experience preferred.

EDUCATION

The minimum level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
