IBM Talent Advisor North Castle, NY in ARMONK, New York

We are seeking to fill the position of Talent Advisor. The Talent Advisors are aligned to the CIO Talent team and located in the key delivery centers (North Castle, NY). The Advisor will work with leaders in those locations to take all aspects of the talent strategy into the location, and track improvement through our Agile Leadership and Team Maturity Assessments. The Advisor will be held accountable for building talent within that location on a cross Domain basis as well as coaching and building Leader capability in conjunction with local management.

  • Owns planning, design and implementation of a global Workforce Management System, including the creation and/or implementation of processes in an Agile environment

  • Creates strategic recommendations to improve productivity while balancing service levels and costs

  • Develops benchmarks using original concepts, industry standards and Agile methodologies

  • Works with clients to understand key business challenges and design solutions and to deliver

  • business outcomes

  • Mentors Senior Leaders and peers in storytelling, Agile workplace design, planning, and problem-solving skills.

  • Consult with clients regarding development & alignment of talent programs across global locations

  • Determine team set-up and, domain design using Agile design methodologies, reporting requirements, and optimization modeling solutions requirements, for ensuring full optimization impact and efficiency of organizational design optimization

  • Use the team level maturity assessments to identify and implement training/development to address skill gaps in strategic locations

  • Manage the Succession Planning and Rotation programs

  • Drive the management of both high and poor performance across the strategic location

  • Eagerness to work in a startup team rapidly changing environment.

  • Experience in Agile Methodologies and organization change management

  • Demonstrated experience in working with senior leaders to design teams using Agile methodologies

  • Demonstrated experience in leading a large-scale workforce re-design using agile processes.

  • Experience with Agile, Lean and Design Thinking methodologies

  • Formal Agile training
