CACI International Engineering and Site Deployment Project Manager in Ashburn, Virginia

Job Description:

CACI is currently looking for outstanding IT candidates to join our DHS Secure Enterprise Network Systems, Services & Support (SENS3) team in the National Capital Region (NCR) and throughout the United States. CACI will provide a variety of IT services through SENS3 including cyber security, identity and access management, risk management, cloud integration and engineering, field support services, service desk, application deployment and optimization, and operations center support services.

CACI is looking for a Site Deployment Manager who manages expansions and upgrades to the HSDN and C-LAN networks based on customer business requests and tech refresh requirements. This position is contingent upon award of the SENS3 Program.

Functional Responsibility:

The applicant shall provide leadership, direction and mentoring to staff in support temporary secure facilities during emergency response and national special security events, new site deployments, expansions and tech refresh efforts on the C-LAN and HSDN networks. The candidate will be responsible for developing schedules; developing cost estimates and estimating models; solicit and refine requirements; work with project customers/stakeholders to ensure mission needs are met; provide transparent visibility of project status and take proactive action to address project risks/issues; forecast resources, interview and recommend candidates, and work with the SENS3 Business Operations Manager to ensure adequate staff are available to fulfill project requirements.


  • Provide leadership and direction to site deployment project managers, hardware technicians, voice/video/communications technicians and subject matter experts

  • Qualify, select, guide and mentor staff

  • Support creation of ROMs/BOMs in response to customer business requests for site deployment projects.

  • Develop standard site deployment project artifacts (site deployment designs, schedules, cost models, etc)

  • Make transparent and visible to stakeholders the status, risks and issues and facilitates proactive corrective action.

  • Working with the HSDN and C-LAN Engineering Leads and Project Portfolio Manager to update Service Roads, Service Architecture and other relevant artifacts.

  • Work with HSDN and C-LAN Service Managers to forecast project demand and continuously improve ability to proactively forecast demand.

  • Work with Project Portfolio Manager and Business Operations Manager to ensure staff availability to support forecasted project workload.

  • Develop briefings, position papers, and other supporting artifacts.

  • Interview and select candidates to fulfill site deployment staffing needs.

  • Manage, mentor and grow staff.


  • Current Secret Clearance

  • TS/SCI Eligible

  • DHS EOD Eligible (Active EOD preferred)

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 10+ years’ progressive IT Experience and Project Management

  • PMP Certified

  • Experience using Microsoft Project to track schedules and resource allocation

  • Demonstrated experience managing site deployment projects/activities

  • Exceptional written/verbal communication skills
