Bank of America CIG Quantitative Financial Analyst in Atlanta, Georgia

Job Description:

Responsible for independently preparing data, and supporting quantitative analytics and analytical modeling projects. Responsible for developing new data processes (ETL) and maintaining existing processes performed on large data environments. Establish and maintain data quality routines. Responsible for developing and maintaining data routines used for model back test and model diagnostics. Build and maintain documentation of data processes and analytical processes.

Required skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in building analytical data marts and data warehousing, or a minimum of 5 years building analytical models

  • Expertise in data tools, language and products used for data manipulation, data warehousing using one of these products/languages: Teradata, Hadoop, SAS

  • Strong SQL and basic Unix/Linux skills

  • Advanced programing skills in: SAS, R

  • Strong project management skills and detail oriented

  • Minimum of a master degree in computer science, statistics, data mining or related field
