Kaiser Permanente Community Manager and Moderator in Atlanta, Georgia
Kaiser Permanente is looking for a community manager and moderator to join the Digital Strategies & Operations team. The ideal candidate has experience managing and growing diverse online communities using social media platforms like Facebook, and experience managing corporate or user support communities. S/he must be fluent in use of social media platforms that allow sharing of photos, video, documents, and written content, and able to quickly become a part of several communities where s/he can help to guide appropriate use while encouraging greater engagement.
The Community Manager and Moderator serves as the community manager for the user base and communities on our internal social networking platform. S/he is responsible for ensuring adherence with guidelines for use by reviewing photos, comments, and posts within the platform; for ensuring the Digital Strategies team delivers against our service level agreement by answering user questions, escalating technical and other issues to appropriate parties, reporting and/or removing inappropriate content, groups, and users; and for growing usage and engagement by identifying trends in user activity, participating in community discussions, and posting content as needed.

Key Responsibilities * Builds strong and professional relationships with users and group admins to promote open communication and gain a thorough understanding of interests and/or concerns * Monitors and reviews photos, reviews, and comments posted on the platform * Works with the Digital Strategies team to identify issues with content, groups, and users * Works with the Digital Strategies team to escalate, triage, and/or delete inappropriate content and members * Identifies trends in posted content and alerts team to new ideas and trends * Identifies and shares top user contributions * Curates, creates, and posts content to support adherence to Guidelines for use and promotion of new features
Qualifications: Basic Qualifications:
Experience * Minimum five (5) years of experience working in a complex corporate communications environment with demonstrated excellence in developing, implementing and monitoring strategic communications programs. Education * Bachelor's degree in journalism, english, business administration or related field, OR four (4) years of experience in a directly related field. * High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
Experience with and mastery of social media platforms including Facebook, Yammer, and Slack Experience as a community manager and moderator for an online community Experience using analytics tools and dashboards to monitor and report on online activity Experience creating, posting, and managing content High attention to detail Proficient in use of social media monitoring dashboards and tools Experience providing non-technical user support Excellent grammar, spelling, and writing skills Proficiency with MS Office applications and Outlook Experience with providing peer feedback and guidance Ability to think strategically and act tactically Willing to roll up your sleeves and do what needs to be done
