Home Depot Sr. Analyst, Investor Relations in Atlanta, Georgia
The Sr. Investor Relations Analyst is responsible for researching financial information for speeches, publications and projects. This individual researches financial information, interprets financial statements, provides financial information for The Home Depot.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Researches financial information for speeches, publications and projects.
Completes specials projects as assigned by the Manager and VP of Investor Relations (e.g. creating financial models of earnings per share, company growth, revenue, etc.)
Develops charts, graphs and spreadsheets for analysis purposes for IR and other HD departments.
Updates and maintains information on IR portion of THD web site.
Fields calls from individual investors, students, and others who inquire about THD stock information. Facilitates fulfillment of requests from individual investors and others for copies of THD annual financial report, Direct Stock Purchase Plan information
Develops IR weekly and presentations for use within THD and to retail audiences.
Researches and develops potential IR cost control and streamlining process solutions and audits bank and departmental invoices so THD is charged properly by vendors and other departments.
NATURE AND SCOPE
Typically reports to Sr. Manager Investor Relations
No direct responsibility for supervising others.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Years of Relevant Work Experience: 5 years
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
