Home Depot Sr. Organization Effectiveness Consultant in Atlanta, Georgia

POSITION PURPOSE

The Sr. Organizational Effectiveness Consultant works with a team of Industrial/Organizational Psychologists and other HR professionals on a wide variety of large­scale HR projects. Responsibilities involve conducting and overseeing talent management projects including: developing and validating selection tools, designing and administering organizational surveys, performing advanced statistical modeling and analysis, building competency models, conducting applied research, and consulting with our business partners.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • 25% ­ Design, implement and maintain employee selection systems/testing instruments.

  • 30% ­ Design, conduct, and consult on research projects and advanced level statistical analyses.

  • 20% ­ Design, implement and evaluate survey solutions.

  • 25% ­ Conduct validation studies and present results to I/O psychologists and other Home Depot Associates.

  • This position reports to Manager or Sr Manager of Organizational Effectiveness.

  • This position has 0 direct reports.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Environment:

Located in a comfortable indoor area.

Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Travel:

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Additional Environmental Job Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be eighteen years of age or older.

Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Additional Minimum Qualifications:

Education Required:

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a master's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 5 years

Physical Requirements:

Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about; occasionally there may be a need to stoop or lift light objects (typically less than 8 pounds).

Additional Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. or ABD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business Intelligence/Business Analytics and/or equivalent experience

  • 2+ years of experience in a corporate setting

  • Expert level SPSS, R, Python, SQL, MS Excel or other related analytics/statistics solutions

  • Strong research and advanced data analysis and modeling skills

  • Strong applied knowledge in Industrial/Organizational Psychology
