IBM Associate Partner, Master Data Management - IBM Consulting in Austin, Texas

IBM Global Business Services (GBS) is hiring an Associate Partner with subject matter expertise in Master Data Management. This is a leadership position with a primary focus in managing large, complex solutions from beginning to end. In this dynamic role you are the 'face' of the project, teaming with colleagues at every turn and providing timely project updates to the client. Responsibilities include:

  • The delivery of MDM in the form of managing the strategic activities of the MDM project team, implementation of tasks and completion of deliverables.

  • Track and maintain the MDM project plan which defines the activities, tasks, responsibilities, milestones, and estimated schedule

  • Prepare and submit the project status report and conduct regularly scheduled project status meetings

  • Serve as the liaison to the MDM Software R&D groups for MDM related issues and inquiries

  • Support the requirements and design stages by managing relationships with the client - scheduling sessions; escalating issues, distributing work products, receiving, and communicating feedback.

  • Monitor project costs and schedules and manage acceptance of deliverables

  • Verify compliance with the project scope and administer the Project Change Request (PCR) procedure as required

  • At least 8 years of experience in managing or consulting in Master Data Management Solution Strategy and Implementation engagements

  • At least 5 years of experience in a prior consulting role with responsibility for and in business development and account management with clients focused on MDM Platform and Solutions, including RFP, Orals presentations, and Statement of work development, and execution

  • At least 5 years of experience working for a management consulting

  • At least 5 years of experience in developing Executive Level client relationships is required

  • At least 2 years of experience in practice management and growth including aspects of talent development, delivery oversight / quality assurance, and thought leadership
