IBM's Insurance Operations and Cognitive Process service line is looking for an experienced Life/Group Insurance Strategy Consultant. You should understand the business challenges of Life and Group Insurance clients and through working with both client and IBM staff, will develop solutions to those challenges and help to grow opportunities in our accounts.Responsibilities include:
Assist in the scoping of work in this area across the Life and Group operational value chain.
Help to develop and maintain relationships with clients and partners to scope, propose, close and deliver Core Insurance projects across both the Life and Group areas.
Participate in pre-sales activities, assessments, sales closing activities and the staffing for delivery of the solution.
Helping to grow solutions and work with technology partners as well who offer solutions in this area, combining both IBM software and assets to deliver a strong value proposition.
Solve the client’s business and technology challenges by utilizing deep understanding of the Group and Life Insurance industry and ability to apply solutions
Provide high quality “trusted advisor” advice to customers to ensure appropriate process and technology solutions are proposed
Manage projects utilizing methodologies and tools, to help clients

At least 3 years of experience in prior consulting role servicing Life and Group Insurance clients.
At least 3 years of experience in the understanding of the operations of a Life and Group Insurance company
At least 3 years of experience in Life and Group Insurance products and processes
At least 2 years of experience in the awareness of package solutions in the industry (i.e., Oracle, Navisys/ALIP, CSC VANTAGE-ONE, Wynsure, Majesco, etc.)
