Our Opportunity:

Charles Schwab & Co. Inc. is looking to hire an Enterprise Architect as a member of Schwab's Enterprise Architecture team. Close coordination across multiple architecture domains and technology groups, working with peer architecture and technology leaders across the organization. This is a senior architecture leadership position in a centralized Enterprise Architecture team under the direction of the CTO.

What you’ll do:

  • You will be responsible for enterprise architecture definition and elaboration as a member of Schwab's Enterprise Architecture team

  • You will be responsible for defining requirements for, and implementing changes to, Enterprise Architecture processes, methods and frameworks

  • You will coordinate across Application, Technology, Security, Data and other architecture teams in the collaborative creation of target-state architectures and roadmaps for implementation.

  • You will apply your substantial technical experience and expert-level architectural thinking to complex multi-year transformation activities and will directly contribute to strategic programs and projects

What you have:

  • 10-20 years of experience in architecture definition and practices, with a strong application architecture background

  • Extensive experience leading architecture definition for enterprise-level architecture artifacts

  • Demonstrated effectiveness in executive presentation and escalation management

  • Agility to work across multiple levels of the organization from developers to senior managers

  • Demonstrated success and progression as a technology professional in a large commercial enterprise, preferably in financial services or other highly regulated industries

  • Background in consulting roles, strong leadership by influence, adaptability to multiple styles of management and decision authority
