IBM Watson Health - Key Account Executive - Life Sciences in Austin, Texas

As a Watson Health - Key Account Executive you will be selling solutions that will transform the entire Life Sciences Value Chain with cognitive computing. You will be an industry expert, someone who is looked upon to lead the way and navigate change. You will apply your expertise and passion to help our Life Sciences clients transform every part of their core business. You will be part of a high performing team that is at the forefront of the cognitive computing era in Healthcare.You will be responsible for:

  • Working with the world’s leading Pharma and Biotech companies to transform key business functions with data and cognitive insights

  • Account planning and lead generation to identify additional contacts/buyers

  • Defining and delivering the value proposition for cognitive solutions and data

  • Leading the negotiation of pricing, terms and conditions, and other key agreement components

  • Managing the client relationship from ideation to implementationWithin 30 days:You will have immersed yourself in cognitive technology and the data, solutions and insights that the Watson Heath Platform provide todayYou will have demonstrated Watson at Work with ClientsWithin 60 days:You will be developing account plansYou will be closing the first of many Watson Health dealsYou will be presenting the Watson Health Strategy to large audiences and C Suite Within 90 days:You will be executing on account plans and shaping the Watson Strategy at key accountsYou will be developing and closing the first of many large scale Watson Health dealsYou will be Impacting health through analytics and cognitive computing!

Our team is looking for a members that encompass the following:

  • Proven high performing, experienced sellers who can engage with customers, build relationships and have the business acumen and strategic thinking to identify business challenges and how to solve them

  • Compelling story tellers who can demonstrate the vision, power and scope of cognitive computing

  • Ability to assess the territory potential, build a Go-To-Market (GTM) plan, and execute that plan

  • Individuals with experience selling business analytics software, cognitive computing, natural language processing or artificial intelligence

  • Individuals with experience selling to Integrated Delivery Systems and Independent Software Vendors

  • Proven track record of selling to stake holders at the C-suite level

  • Experience leading 2 or more of the following functions: Research, Clinical Development, Pharmacovigilance, HEOR/ Real World Evidence or Digital Strategy

  • Experience selling SaaS solutions and Services

  • At least 5 years selling and closing multi-million multi year deals in the Life Sciences industry

  • At least 10 years of experience in identifying and nurturing partnerships at a C-suite level

  • At least 10 years of experience in working with cross functional teams building and executing a go-to-market strategy and delivering strategic value
