CACI International Graphic Design Production Manager in Baltimore, Maryland
Directs and coordinates the work activities of graphic designer, media coordinator, and traffic coordinator personnel.
Provides creative direction to graphic designer on display materials, print-on-demand products, promotional items, recognition support items, and storefront materials.
Provides support to media coordinator in cooperation with procurement direction from account executive.
Provides support to traffic coordinator in support of fulfillment, warehousing, and delivery of all marketing materials.
Provides technical and artistic guidance to graphic designer using client’s guidance.
Schedules work, reviews completed work for formatting, accuracy, and general appearance.
Defines work requirements with account executive.
Reviews and manages vendor support as necessary.
Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all marketing materials.
Confers with account executive regarding budget, background information, objectives, and selection of media.
Assigns design resources for approved projects.
Prioritizes, tracks, handles, and maintains records of the elements and time schedules of multiple projects.
Approves sample layouts and finished layouts prior to submission to account executive.
Defines, documents, implements, and supports continual graphic design process improvement.
Selects, trains, and evaluates work of assigned staff.
Signs timecards, prepares performance reviews, handles discipline problems, and has input to hiring and firing of assigned staff.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent and seven to nine years of related experience, with one to two years supervisory/management experience. Typically applies expert knowledge of computerized equipment to support work activities. Proficient with a wide range of media.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. Experience using MS SharePoint.
Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
