IBM Software Engineer in BALTIMORE, Maryland

The Medical Sieve grand challenge research project has urgent need for a software engineer to lead the development of a system that collects clinical data from both user interfaces and connections to enterprise information systems.Knowledge of enterprise systems such as Cerner or EPIC, as well as PACS systems is desirable. Familiarity with HL7 and DICOM a plus. Experience in developing user interfaces for both mobile and desktop environments required. Programming skills required: Java, J2EE, REST, JavaScript, HTML, and SQL. Knowledge of Lucene-based indexing a plus.Ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of software development experience and demonstrated ability to build successful applications. Master’s degree in Computer Science required. Proven communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams desirable.Relocation to Baltimore area required..
