Business Unit IntroductionIBM Global Technology Services (GTS) helps clients plan, implement and manage an efficient, resilient, flexible IT infrastructure. IBM GTS is the partner of choice for infrastructure services – be it transformational outsourcing tied to business outcomes or integrated managed services or discrete services.Who you are:As a Specialist you will apply your expertise in developing and implementation of the solution architecture. You will also be working on product customization, integration and extensions required for the solution to meet the customer’s expectation. What you’ll do:

  • Should ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of our infrastructure by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing our customer deployments and fulfillment operations

  • Interact with customers both through email, phone, and ticket tracking regarding questions on product usage.

  • Research and verify possible technical issues or bugs and resolve them for customers.

  • Write product documentation or knowledge base articles.

  • Monitor all incoming fulfillment operations and take action as necessary.

  • Ensure new releases and upgrades are functional and performant for our customers. By being involved in smoke testing and defect resolution.

  • Should be available for on call shifts for after-hours technical support.

• 2+ years of experience with IaaS covering Compute, Network & Storage across multiple public cloud providers including AWS, Azure, & SoftLayer.• Understanding of ordering lifecycle on public cloud.• Exposure to ITIL aligned teams (Incident Management).• Understanding of middleware.• Basic Administration of Windows and Linux.
