Business Unit Introduction:IBM Global Technology Services (GTS) helps clients plan, implement and manage an efficient, resilient, flexible IT infrastructure. IBM GTS is the partner of choice for infrastructure services – be it transformational outsourcing tied to business outcomes or integrated managed services or discrete services. Who you are:

  • You will be Administrator for SCCM infrastructure services.

What you will do:

  • Ability to work with no guidance.

  • Oncall and after hours work required as the role is the service support for SCCM.

  • Proven Communication skills.

  • Independent work and analytical skills required.

  • At least 5 years experience working across multiple delivery teams and customers

  • Own compliance tracking/reporting, e.g. CIRATS.

  • Architect level knowledge of SCCM 2007, SCCM 2012, SCCM Current Branch

  • Open and Execute Changes

  • Respond to all SCCM related incidents

  • Diagnose & respond to SCCM Infrastructure Status Errors

  • Monitor the SCCM SQL server logs, jobs, backups and advisories

  • Apply SCCM SQL service packs and hotfixes

  • Backup/Restore SQL DB and SCCM application

  • Monitor Site Components and Service Status

  • Repair all errors in all components and servers

  • Monitor MP status

  • Monitor event logs

  • Manage SCCM File System

  • Check System Directories

  • Distribute and maintain Client agent to in scope baselined PCs and servers

  • Make available SCCM Web based reporting.

  • Maintain existing reporting templates and create new ones
