We are looking for a Senior Supply Chain Consultant to join our innovative team.Role Description: In this exciting role, you will be responsible for leading engagements with client stakeholders and providing consultation to assist supply chain practitioners in the creation of a blueprint for implementing a cognitive supply chain. Supply chain disciplines will include logistics and inventory planning & management, transport operations, logistics operations, materials management and third-party logistics (3PL) operations. The role is also responsible for working with the client to assist in delivery of cognitive use cases in conjunction with technical solutions team members.Responsibilities include: Day to day duties will consist of, but will not be limited to:

  • Understanding client strategic and tactical objectives across the supply chain business function;

  • Identifying client business problems or improvement opportunities across all and developing a strategy to support implementation of a cognitive supply chain;

  • Gathering client requirements and translating them into a roadmap for execution;

  • Providing client consultation on supply chain processes and systems;

  • Understanding changes in the industry influencing supply chains and integrating new process and/or technology enablers into client strategy;

  • Managing project plans, and delivering to key milestones;

  • Leading cross functional project teams where required;

  • Ability to travel on a global basis as needed;

  • Lead, develop, mentor and motivate team members to deliver to expected outcomes;

  • Providing direct support and coaching to team members and the client;

  • Preparing and presenting strategy, and outcomes of projects and initiatives to the client;

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline;

  • Expertise across all elements of the supply chain with an in-depth understanding of emerging trends and enablers;

  • Background in understanding the needs of clients - this includes assessing their priorities and motivations, their network and organization;

  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with peer groups and key internal and external stakeholders;

  • Communicating effectively with clients at various levels of the business (written and oral) and influencing as required;

  • Developing and delivering effective presentations;

  • Managing tight timelines;

  • Analyzing complex or technical problems;

  • Ability to test digital technology over a traditional process;

  • Innovative thinking.
