AECOM’s Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM’s Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. GSS supports the U.S. Government, non-U.S. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support.

Job Summary

AECOM is looking for Cleared Custodians! Full Time Day Shift; Monday - Friday, between 6am - 6pm - 8.5hour shift.

Custodians perform the following duties:

  • Vacuuming, mopping, dust mopping, sweeping and scrubbing floors, empty waste containers, low and high cleaning

  • perform restroom cleaning, restroom checks, clean water fountains, clean fitness centers, showers and locker rooms

  • clean freight and passenger elevators

  • clean and polish furniture and fixtures, clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors at prescribed heights

  • clean walls, machines, and equipment

  • shampoo carpets, strip, seal, finish, and polish floors

  • follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners

  • empty waste containers, deliver collected refuse to the loading dock

  • assist in Special Events setups

  • monitor building for maintenance/safety/security issues and report any violations to immediate Supervisor or Management

  • maintains custodial equipment in a clean, safe operable condition

  • report shortage of supplies and equipment failures to immediate Supervisor or Management

  • performs other related work as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active Top Secret SCI - TS/SCI with a willingness to be submitted for higher level government clearances to include a government polygraph.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a polygraph

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Must be able to lift 50 Pounds

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Polygraph

  • Ability to operate cleaning machines such as buffers, scrubbers, etc.
