The Investment Oversight Team provides the Office of the CIO with a consistent, scalable, and quantitative investment process that applies systematic rigor and oversight to both internally and externally covered strategies, portfolios, and platforms to achieve a holistic view of positioning, risk, performance, and overall investment effectiveness. The team gives senior leadership comfort in ongoing platform oversight and a unifying investment process applied to all fiduciary assets within Bank of America.
The Investment Oversight Analyst will support the team with responsibilities including:
Manage and integrate data across the firm for Investment Oversight analysis, as well as automate the production of value-added inputs and reports to firm-wide investment and governance committees.
Review and coordinate the production of performance and statistical data for all investment products including mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, alternative investments and institutional / privately managed accounts.
Establish, evolve, and expand quantitative investment analysis frameworks and tools to assist with the firm’s due diligence, portfolio construction, and platform management efforts.
Contribute to investment governance committees and working groups across the firm by providing data and insights in order to produce better decisions and investment outcomes for clients.
Design, document and maintain well-structured data models in-line with the reporting and analytical needs of the Investment Oversight Team.
5-7 years work experience in relevant business or financial industry functional role
BS/MS in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics) from a top-tier institution or equivalent background.
CFA and/or MBA in progress or obtained preferred but not required.
Strong background in statistics and machine learning preferred but not required.
Experience with building databases and connecting to various data sources, including Excel, Access, SQL server.
Experience programming in C#, R, VBA, Python, C++ or a similar language desired, as well as a strong understanding of the fundamental principles of computer science.
Strong interest in global financial markets.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Tableau, Factset, Morningstar Direct, Bloomberg or MPI Stylus preferred, but not required.
