Bank of America Sr. Performance Measurement Analyst in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Description:

Job Summary:

Reviews and coordinates the production of performance and statistical data for all investment products including mutual funds, variable annuities and institutional / privately managed accounts. Prepares & monitors performance data for inclusion in shareholder reports, prospectuses, SAI, trustee materials, website, various marketing publications, and various performance reports that support the investment management and shareholder services departments. May supervise Performance Analysts in day-to-day operations and special projects. Delegates tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion as directed by manager.

Organized by asset class, the Investment Oversight Analyst will conduct quarterly independent Investment Oversight reviews of all platform investments regardless of coverage team or status. Material observations on internally covered strategies will be addressed with the appropriate IMG analyst and escalated as appropriate though existing DDIC and other governance processes. Material observations on externally covered or non-covered strategies will be escalated through DDIT and various platform committees for consideration.

  • Addresses weekly changes in third party due diligence ratings in IO Working Team, and presents to DDIT and various platform committees for consideration.

  • Analysts will provide communication safety net for both UST and ML on strategies that lack analyst coverage or that rely solely on third party due diligence coverage.

  • Serve as asset class specialist to LOB platform and portfolio construction teams in the sourcing of managers by looking across both internally and externally covered investments.

  • Curate relevant topic papers to the field(sometimes in conjunction with IMG) that address both internally and externally covered strategies.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years work experience in relevant business or financial industry functional role

  • CFA and/or MBA in progress or obtained preferred but not required

  • Strong interest in global financial markets

  • Prioritize and multi-task in fast passed environment while showing strong attention to detail and exhibiting technical skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with Factset, Morningstar Direct, Bloomberg or MPI Stylus preferred
