IBM Senior Security Consultant in Bratislava, Slovakia

The consultants in the European security services practice are advisors and management consultants who can speak about the entire security and risk landscapes with a client’s senior management or executive team. The consultants should primarily have depth of knowledge and experience in Security Strategy, Risk and Compliance (including EU legislative on General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) together with one or more of the core security domains:

• Identity & Access Management; • SOC Operations• Application and Data Security

The Senior Consultant should be able to speak across the landscape and provide subject matter expertise in the form of briefings, workshops, and/or consulting engagements within their domain. They should be able to assess a client’s security capabilities as well as recommending solutions to enhance a client’s overall security capabilities. Such client security capabilities may involve policy, process, technology, or organizational areas. Consultants will identify gaps in the current environment and recommend best practices or solutions to reduce client risk and increase their ability to deal with emerging threats and risks to the organization. The consultant will also assist in pre-sales, sales, deal closure, and organising the delivery of security consulting services with local teams.

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • At least 5 years’ experience in management consulting and systems integration or Managed Security Services in a top tier professional services firm

  • At least 5 years’ experience working in projects related to the core domain

  • Experience working across diverse teams to facilitate solutions

  • Experience working with Security practitioners

  • Strong Consulting proven track record

  • Strong Systems Integration proven track record

  • Strong Complex Solutioning proven track record

  • Strong Delivery proven track record

  • Strong Sales/Pre-sales proven track record

  • Readiness to travel 50-75%

  • Fluency in English (minimum B2 level) & Czech/Slovak language

Security Architecture fundamentals, Security Processes and Standards, Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) - The ability to create high quality documentation such as Presentations, Reports and completing metrics and spreadsheets. IT Systems - A fundamental understanding of IT Systems and Services covering Virtualisation, Mainframes, Cloud Services, Hosting Services, Desktop.
