_JOB TITLE: Provider Enrollment Application Process Manager_
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Responsible for managing all operational aspects of the Provider Enrollment Application process.
SUPERVISOR: Provider Enrollment Director
SUPERVISES: Provider Enrollment Application Process Coordinator, Applications Representative, Follow-up Representative, and Payor Approval Representative
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: • Ensure application development and follow up process is handled timely (within documented SLA’s) • Monitor approval process to ensure the verifications are completed timely and documented clear as well as scanned into OnBase to begin EDI process • Monitor Daily reporting to managing aging of assignments • Weekly review with Intake Manager to review UA’s being sent over for application development • Monitor to ensure the application library is maintained in a current state • Communicate with Provider Account manager to work through escalation needs • Manages assignments within Applications, Follow up and Payor approval staff • Holds weekly staff meeting to keep staff informed of changes and growth within the market • Ensure all Desk Manuals are current and updated according to outlines standards • Performs other duties and works on special projects as required • Participates in education activities and programs • Assists other management personnel as requested • Meets/adheres to all established individual objective and departmental standards • Monitor all productivity per established standards • Manages department H/R functions which includes hiring, termination, performance management, monthly one ones, annual performance evaluations and documentation compliance • Overseas the Quality Assurance and Audit Program, which includes program compliance, report utilization, performance management and process improvement • Performs duties in accordance with defined policies and procedures and meets departmental Service Level Agreements associated with their area of responsibility • Provides excellent Customer services to all external and internal customers • Practices and adheres to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement” • Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES • Strong provider Enrollment knowledge • Problem solving, organizational and delegation skills • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely through presentations, reporting, policies, calls and other means • Set and effectuate priorities • Recruit and manage needed to meet operational objectives • Ability to get the work done through the management of others • Ability to identify, set, and follow priorities • Strong organizational skills • Strong PC skills • Skills in technology such as word processors, spreadsheets, databases, schedulers, etc. • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
EDUCATION • Business Associates Preferred (BA) or minimum of three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have comprehensive knowledge of Healthcare.
EXPERIENCE • Minimum of 2 years of Provider Enrollment experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS: Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports. Requires lifting papers or boxes up to 25 pounds occasionally. Work is performed in an office environment. Work may be stressful at times. Contact may involve dealing with angry or upset people. Staff must remain flexible and available to provide staffing assistance for any/all disaster or emergency situations.
