The Indirect Tax Operation Team Leader is primarily responsible for the daily support of VAT Accounting Analysts with primary emphasis on reviewing duties.Responsibilities

  • Lead the IDT Team for the countries managed to ensure that all IDT returns and associated processes (submission, payment and reconciliations) are completed accurately and on time

  • Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries

  • Take a lead and support Internal/External Audits by providing timely response to data requests and/or review responses of Accounting Analysts

  • Give recommendation to address identified process weaknesses to improve quality

  • Ad-hoc support of Indirect Tax Center or Excellent Management in ad-hoc projects and queries

  • English: fluent (written and oral)

  • Applied accounting skills and IDT knowledge

  • Basic leadership skills

  • Strong knowledge in using MS Excel spreadsheets and Powerpoint

  • Good problem solving skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

  • Ability to work with people in remote locations and with different cultures

  • Strong organizational/communication skills
