As an Associate Compensation Consultant, you will be an integral member of project teams by serving as a day-to-day contact for the analytical team and a client contact on projects and will:

Be accountable for delivery of high quality analysis by reviewing quantitative and qualitative analyses and research and conducting complex analyses. Apply analysis, research, and critical thinking skills to understand financial performance, talent management and governance trends, and pay practices and policies for a particular client and within the broader marketplace. Draft or review client presentations and reports to draw meaningful conclusions from data. Work closely with the analytical team to determine the customized exhibits to be included. Provide guidance and technical expertise to less experienced members of the project team. Manage small- to mid-sized client projects or work streams of larger client projects to ensure timely delivery of work and achievement of projects objectives within budget and scope. Use project management tools, estimate hours for the project team, prioritize and delegate project activities to manage the workload in line with individual capability, prepare timelines for project milestones, and meet project deadlines. Manage client expectations regarding timelines, budget, and scope. Participate or lead client project status meetings, fact-finding interviews, and presentations. Participate in business development and sales processes by drafting proposals and responding to requests for proposals, supporting project plan development and pricing, suggesting project extensions based on existing work, and attending sales calls and meetings.   Example projects include:

Benchmarking and advising on executive and Board of Director compensation levels. Helping our clients utilize best practices in corporate governance. On-going communication and advisory to Board of Directors and executive teams. Advising companies on integration and retention strategy during corporate transactions. Providing clients with market trends and current and emerging best practices. Developing salary structures, variable pay programs, and performance management systems.
