Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under limited supervision, provides direct support to the intelligence training process.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

Performs development and delivery of technical training and educational programs for customer personnel; works under limited supervision; performs additional duties as assigned. The MCS Trainer serves as a technical advisor subject matter expert for specific MCS such as CPOF, FBCB2, AFATDS, etc. Can also cross-train on JLCTCC-ERF Systems (JCATS, JDLM, JNEM, AARS, FIRESIM) as it pertains to the planning and employment by Reserve Component forces preparing for deployment and integration into Joint/Combined/Multinational support of both combat and military operations other than war. Responsible for planning, development, and execution of training activities to include system instruction, scheduling, development of databases, exercise scenarios, workstation player/controller training, exercise execution, and participation in After Action Reviews. Reviews and updates database requirements for accuracy, and compliance with applicable doctrine. May serve in various areas of responsibility such as task lead for Mission Readiness Exercises or Warrior Exercises within the Reset/Train or Ready phases of the ARFORGEN process. Provides support in developing, coordinating, and presenting all exercise-related documents and multimedia presentations for AARs in support of each event.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Typically requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent and zero to two years of prior field experience in the Mission Command System being taught. Instructor certification required to support some courses.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
