Our Cummins Laverton & Campbellfield branches are seeking qualified Heavy Vehicle or Diesel Mechanics to provide both workshop and field service support to our varied and valued customer base. Working with industry leading technology and diagnostics, you will be pivotal in delivering on our promise of ‘legendary service, sales and support’ which will build your knowledge and fuel your career.

Responsibilities:

  • Completes repairs and rebuilds on engine products in a service workshop under minimal supervision

  • Applies documented procedures and policies to complete basic repairs and schedule maintenance, including preparing required parts and tools

  • Disassemble and clean engines and /or engine components

  • Assists with completing required documentation, such as work completed documentation, time sheets, warranty claims and quality forms

  • Maintains work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation

  • Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to their supervisor

Qualifications

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Heavy Vehicle or Diesel Mechanic qualification with post trade practical experience working on diesel engines

  • Ability to carry out basic repairs and scheduled maintenance on different product types with minimal supervision

  • Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products

  • Ability to work safely and identify safety risks or hazards

  • Basic level of computer literacy particularly in utilising diagnostic

  • A valid and current drivers’ license
