Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Senior CEI Inspector for employment in the Cape Canaveral, FL office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for performing highly complex technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout, making, and checking engineering computations, inspecting construction work, and conducting field tests

  • Responsible for coordinating and managing the lower level inspectors

  • Work is performed under the general supervision of the CEI Project Administrator and/or CEI Senior Project Engineer

Minimum Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent

  • 5+ years of experience in construction inspection including bridge and/or roadway construction inspection or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, skills, knowledge, abilities and experience

  • CTQP Paving Level certification

  • Able to demonstrate an established career in performing Construction Engineering and Inspection duties on highway and bridge construction projects

  • A strong background in asphalt paving

  • Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required

  • Must possess a valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

  • CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I

  • CTQP Earthwork Level I

  • CTQP Concrete Level I

  • CTQP Pile Driving

  • CTQP Drilled Shafts

  • CTQP Final Estimates Level I

  • FDOT Intermediate MOT

  • IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector

  • Nuclear Radiation Safety

  • FDEP Stormwater Inspector Certification
