Center Valley, PA - The Contract Operations Specialist's role is to administrate and manage GPO and Key Contracts as assigned for MSG.

Responsible for maintaining accurate pricing by item and contract tier levels for all assigned contracts negotiated by Corporate Sales Team.
Track new items and submit to GPO new items with appropriate contract pricing for acceptance and inclusion on contract on a regular basis.
Initiates and tracks amendments with GPOs to ensure contracts are updated in a timely manner.
Manage uploading all pricing additions, changes, expirations, flags, and extensions in SAP required.
Notify GPO contract customers of discontinued items and replacements as necessary.
Update contract pricing to reflect price increases by contract as required.
Develop RFPs as required.
Develop working knowledge of all pricing terms and conditions of all contracts.
Provides assistance to Contract Managers or other personnel within Olympus’s corporate account clientele to resolve questions/problems with regard to pricing, customer service issues, and other information requests.
Develops proficiency for creating ad hoc reports as required by Corporate Sales in support of business development, customers’ requests and to meet other needs of the organization.
Develops working knowledge of product and product group classifications to determine proper discounts per contracts.
Prepares sales history data for analysis and submission to Corporate Sales customers.
Generates monthly/quarterly sales volume and administration fee reports according to terms of group purchasing agreements.
Create administrative fee check requests, validates payment amount with relevant product finance department and assures that payments are made in accordance with contract terms.
Develops working knowledge of contract pricing and administrative fee terms and conditions in order to develop processes and procedures to meet contract obligations.
Schedules regular review process of membership lists published by group purchasing organizations.
Maintains access, where necessary, to GPO websites to download such lists in accordance with contractual terms and conditions.
Timely processes membership additions and deletions identified on published lists and follows schedule to review each major GPO list according to standard operating procedures.
Receives hard copy and electronic requests for changes in contract tier levels.
Distributes requests as necessary to appropriate field personnel for validation.
Activates tier changes within customer address book.
Maintains detailed files to document membership review procedure and contract tier changes, including creation of electronic copies of "Letters of Participation".
Distribute and record "Choice Letters" as necessary to confirm customer’s preferred affiliation when eligible to participate in more than one contract program offered by Olympus.
Develop working knowledge of terms and conditions of all contract programs to provide guidance to Customer Service Representatives, and Sales Representatives.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration or equivalent education and experience is required.
Knowledge of GPO/IDN segment of healthcare industry is preferred.
Prior experience in contract administration is preferred.
Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational & analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Must be able to work independently, multitask and prioritize workload in order to meet demanding deadlines.
Must be a team player, have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with others.
Proficient knowledge and skills in Microsoft applications (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, and Access) are desired.
Advanced knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel are essential.
Reporting experience with Business Objects, Microstrategies, Showcase, or similar reporting software is required.
Must be able to interact in a team setting.
Must have ability to meet tight deadlines in a high pressure environment.
SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP experience is strongly preferred.
