Job Description

Center Valley, PA - As a member of the Governance Team, the IT Business Analyst collaborates in developing, establishing, and maintaining quality assurance standards and measurements in support of validation of systems, policies and procedures, change management, and project management/governance. The incumbent will gather and analyze information in support of proposed IT projects and daily operations. This includes assisting with change management operations, project testing, project management and acting as a liaison between management, developers, and business partners. He/She will apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate and document information technology processes and maximize the benefit of ITS initiatives through continuous improvement. Job Duties:

  • Assist in developing and establishing quality assurance measures and testing standards throughout the system development lifecycle.

  • Assist project teams in the creation and execution of project and test plans.

  • Assist in the development of change control processes, practices, and guidelines for new and existing technologies.

  • Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in information technology projects.

  • Conduct internal reviews to measure and assure adherence to established QA standards and corresponding documentation.

  • Verify and revise quality assurance standards as needed, as part of continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with software/systems personnel in application testing, such as system, unit, integration, regression, load, and acceptance testing methods.

  • Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management.

  • Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of quality assurance, project management, and change management best practices.

  • Assist in the establishment of documentation standards to include style guides and MS Word templates.

  • Create and update policies and procedures in support of quality assurance standards.

  • Perform all other duties as required either temporarily or permanently to support project and department efforts.

Job Requirements:

(ONLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED)

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or business administration, or equivalent work experience is required.

  • Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in the design, development, and implementation of quality assurance standards for software testing or information technology processes is required.

  • Minimum of 2 years of direct experience on large-scale information technology projects is required.

  • Successful experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is necessary.

  • Good project-based skills or substantial exposure to project-based work structures are essential.

  • Ability to understand and implement organizational goals and objectives is preferred.

  • Proven problem-solving skills are essential.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are desired.

  • Excellent listening, presentation, and interpersonal skills are necessary.

  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language is highly preferred.

  • Must be able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-volume, complex work environment.

  • Must have exceptional attention to detail.
