Job Description

The Senior Analyst, Asset Management Analytics will provide support functions and analysis to ensure effective and efficient usage and control of assets, both capital and consumable, in compliance with all Olympus policies and procedures across the various business units of Olympus. He/She will assist with the creation and maintenance of adequate data measurement and monitoring structures that meet the needs of senior management. EOE Minorities/Females/Veterans/Disabled

Job Duties:

  • Analyze and develop inventory plans, provide leadership for continuous improvement of integrated demand management processes; support positive linkage within the supply chain relationship working closely with operations, finance, compliance, marketing, and legal teams.

  • Analyze field inventory turns/trends and product utilization by multiple criteria.

  • Provide monthly reports to senior management, marketing, and other required groups.

  • Coordinate the launch (NPIs) with marketing and/or return of field inventory according to the product launch/retrieval plan.

  • Provide reports weekly and/or monthly to regional sales/marketing management detailing the project progress and potential obstacles and/or opportunities.

  • Lead sales/marketing management monthly asset/business reviews.

  • Communicate field based data intelligence to the internal supply chain disciplines.

  • Research, recommend, and implement alternative distribution methods that reduce inventory requirements.

  • Continued analysis of new methods to insure their effectiveness in a dynamic ever-changing environment.

  • Make independent decisions as the field inventory departmental representative on cross-functional teams.

  • Assist Department Manager with prioritization of assignments, and provide guidance, supervision and training to other Analysts with regards to department operations and procedures.

  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

(ONLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED)

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required; MBA/Advanced degree is preferred.

  • Minimum of 4 years business experience in Logistics, Manufacturing, Operations, field or Inventory Management and/or related experience is required.

  • SAP Experience is preferred.

  • Strong computer skills used in business reporting are highly preferred.

  • Ability to apply Excel at an advanced level (macros, linking of files) to inventory analysis is highly preferred.

  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills are necessary.

  • Ability to make effective oral and written presentations to senior levels of management is necessary.

  • Ability to influence and develop interdependent partnering which results in meeting departmental goals and objectives is essential.

  • Ability to travel up to 10% a year is preferred.
