Job Description:

CACI is currently looking for outstanding IT candidates to join our DHS Secure Enterprise Network Systems, Services & Support (SENS3) team in the National Capital Region (NCR) and throughout the United States. CACI will provide a variety of IT services through SENS3 including cyber security, identity and access management, risk management, cloud integration and engineering, field support services, service desk, application deployment and optimization, and operations center support services.

Functional Responsibility:

The applicant will be part of the Operations Support team. Configuration items required to deliver IT services are managed and maintained in accordance with IT Service Management (ITSM) practices. Applicant will work directly with government stakeholders to create a one-stop shop (website) for addressing user incidents, problems, and requests for service, whether they are initiated via phone, email, or as walk-up requests to produce formalized reports for Senior Executives. Responsible for the creation and management of all configuration projects and planning. Provides guidance and advice on methods, procedures and requirements. Responsible for configuration change control. Regulates the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents. Ensures configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness, proper authorization and system

updates. Authorizes the release of drawings and software configuration changes specified by management and other functional groups. Responsible for configuration status accounting. Tracks all problems and changes in product documents and reports changes and current configuration. Responsible for configuration audits. Supports audits to verify that requirements of all baselines have been met. Supports quality assurance process audits, and manage staff of configuration specialists for a new software development application. Candidate will s upport government Account Executives with customer need analysis and participate in project meetings with clients, architect and other stakeholders to generate configuration reports and SOP’s based on Executive feedback. Candidate will support hardware and software re-capitalization planning, managing the command approved software and hardware lists and its associated documentation library. Tasks shall also include providing technical inputs to policies and procedures, selected applicant will develop configuration management utilities and recommend the use, operation, and maintenance of software and applications to support configuration management, asset management, release management, and license management for all applications and systems.

Specific RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Designs and establishes management documentation. Authorizes the release of drawings, and software configuration changes specified by management and other functional groups. Provides advice and guidance on methods, procedures, and requirements to individuals responsible for the creation of documentation.

  • Plans and implements methods to improve response.

  • Participates in special studies. As an expert, provides work leadership for CM Specialists. Performs data management tasks as required by contract.

  • Provide Incident Management, Request Fulfillment, Event Management, Access Management, and Problem Management

  • Provide technical services to engineer, operate, deploy, maintain, and secure the HSDN and C-LAN systems, including preventive maintenance, technology refresh, and equipment replacement

  • Ensure Operations are following the set processes and have the tools to do their job.

  • Works with the CSI team to improve processes and ensure process are known throughout the operations team.

  • Collaborate with DHS governance and working groups to establish documented roles and RESPONSIBILITIES, documented methods of communications, and create MOU between service providers. Ability to run reports and track back-end infrastructure and licenses.

  • Other duties as required.

  • Provide training to support user and stakeholder knowledge of relevant network information and operations IAW with ITIL ITSM

  • Conduct major problem review (lessons learned) when a problem is closed

  • Collect, track, and report metrics that indicate Request Fulfillment

  • Input reports for performance Integrated end-to-end performance monitoring and management with Riverbed SteelCentral suite.

  • Provide transparent, data-driven insight into the performance of on premise and cloud services consumed by SENS3 users.

  • Provide Incident Management, Request Fulfillment, Event Management, Access Management and, Problem Management

  • Support incident management consistent with ITIL best practices and SOPs

  • Log and prioritize incidents in a trouble ticketing system

  • Investigate, diagnose, and escalate incidents; test resolutions; verify user satisfaction

  • Conduct network discovery and ensure that all configurable items are accounted for on the network.

  • Run configuration reports

  • Maintain documented contact lists for Operations for DHS external/internal partners.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current Secret Clearance

  • SCI Eligible

  • DHS EOD Eligible (Active EOD preferred)

  • BA/BS + 5-7 YRS in related technical field

  • Excellent computer skills including MS Word & Excel

  • Previous experience with SupportWeb, Remedy or similar tool

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

  • Previous experience with an Asset Management database a plus
