CACI International Desktop Imaging, Patching and Tier III Support in Chantilly, Virginia
CACI is currently looking for outstanding IT candidates to join our DHS Secure Enterprise Network Systems, Services & Support (SENS3) team in the National Capital Region (NCR) and throughout the United States. CACI will provide a variety of IT services through SENS3 including cyber security, identity and access management, risk management, cloud integration and engineering, field support services, service desk, application deployment and optimization, and operations center support services.
CACI is currently looking candidates for the patching and imaging of various backend infrastructure equipment utilizing various Operating Systems to include Windows and Linux. Applicant shall provide guidance, training and assistance to other personnel. Support Account Executives with customer need analysis and participate in project meetings with clients, architect and other stakeholders to generate preliminary system design and patching SOP’s. Applicant will be responsible for working directly with the government to provide documentation, including: drawings, cut sheets, manuals. Create system configuration, programming files and as-built documentation for all servers and desktops on all networks on the contract. Act as subject matter expert for after-project support. The Desktop Imaging, Patching and Tier III Support Engineer shall document, install, test, monitor and create images for the installation of various network and desktop equipment following the configuration board guidelines. May install, run performance tests, modify, troubleshoot, and repairs of systems and related peripherals. Applicant shall perform Engineering support and document to provide Operating Systems of all Enterprise systems of classified networks. Individual will also coordinate and provide network troubleshooting to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex problems affecting network performance and develop and maintain SOPs and Test results to be provided to the Operations team.
Provision desktop hardware devices to users
Replace desktop hardware devices based on preplanned technology refreshment lifecycles
Prepare, test, and deploy vendor functionality & security updates
Configure and maintain images and configurations on laptop devices
Deploy and maintain workstations which provide independent and concurrent virtual desktop access to multiple classified network environments
Enable users to configure multiple monitors
Support virtual desktop technology
Provide VM maintenance and patching
Laptop setup (joining to domain)
Localized application support
Remote Assistance and Virtual workstation environment
Ensure workstation location and configurations are up to date. Provide remote operations and management of servers
Perform setup of Automation & Orchestration in a virtualized environment.
Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, configuration and operational problems across the VMware and guest OS platforms
Perform integration of management tools into a single, common tool stack with Microsoft System Center (SC) Suite
Install and maintain UC hardware and software on servers
Ensure systems conform to UC industry and IC standards to permit interoperability of services across organizations
Test changes to infrastructure services and components prior to system deployment
Facilitate simulation or replication conditions on operational network
Help maintain configuration baseline for Infrastructure Assessment and Test Environment
Provide release package for packages developed in Test Environment
Recommend tools and processes to accomplish enterprise management tasks.
Current Secret Clearance
DHS EOD Eligible (Active EOD preferred)
BA/BS + 5-7 YRS in technical related field
Experience with operation and maintenance of voice services in a diverse environment
Extensive Microsoft Systems Administration experience in an engineering and administration environment
Microsoft Certified Systems Certifications (MCSE, MCSA, MCITP)
