Job Summary

AECOM has immediate opportunities for

Estimators to support our FEMA project in various locations in the United States. Locations may include California, Texas, Louisiana and Florida. The selected candidate will be responsible for activities related to estimating all the elements of project cost including labor (manual and non-manual), materials and permanent equipment, supplies, consumables and expenses, and construction equipment rental and operating costs, contingency, escalation, program risk, and related activities.

Minimum Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship required.

  • Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain an SF-85 Public Trust Security Clearance .

  • Position will require travel.

  • Must be available for immediate employment.

  • Must be available for 3-6 months or longer employment term.

  • Bachelors degree in finance, engineering or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and related experience.

  • A minimum of five years plus of experience in the Engineering or Construction Industry is required.

  • Must understand estimating terminology, measures, concepts and principles for compiling bid proposals.

  • Must possess strong computer skills, and the ability to demonstrate consistent, effective and efficient written and oral communications skills.

  • Should have the ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, Requests-for-Proposals and contracts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Actively, fully adjudicated secret or TS security clearance is preferred.

  • Prior FEMA training and experience is preferred.
