CACI International Java Developer in Chantilly, Virginia
Location: Herndon and Washington DC Metropolitan area, US
CACI is seeking a Java Developer located in Northern Virginia who under minimal direction performs as a fully experienced Software Developer in design, development, coding, testing, and debugging new software or providing complex enhancements to existing software. Will work as part of a dynamic team using agile development methodology supporting mission critical systems that are being expanded and integrated.

Duties and RESPONSIBILITIES
Proven application development experience and solid understanding of good software engineering design principles.
Works as part of a fast-paced team to perform object-oriented application development using the entellitrak tool as the foundation.
Analyses functional requirements and troubleshoot application code issues.
Develops code necessary to complete the assigned project(s) in the specified time frame according to published standards and guidelines.
Writes, modifies, and debugs software for client applications.
Supports completed software throughout the Software Development Life Cycle and in production.
Ensures appropriate documentation is created and maintained for projects and operational procedures.
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, including five years of Software Development experience.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Solid knowledge of Java (Object Oriented Programming concepts).
Familiarity with XML and XML related technologies, including XML schemas and XSLT's
Relational Database (SQL Server, Oracle) experience and functional understanding of database structure.
Understanding of J2EE Architecture (JBoss, Apache, Tomcat, etc.) and deployment procedures.
Work in a highly collaborative, agile team environment, review business requirements and develop solutions meeting and improving on the business needs.
Experience with Agile development methodologies, especially SCRUM.
Strong prioritization, communication, and documentation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Exposure to healthcare applications.
· Experience with Oracle RAC and Oracle Enterprise Manager Experience with other Oracle technologies such as Oracle DataGuard and ASM a plus.
· Experience with Oracle WebLogic and Oracle Access Manager a plus. Knowledge of 508 development principles.
· Excellent troubleshooting skills.
· Ability to learn new or existing systems quickly and drive to solution.
· Communicate technical and non-technical information clearly, answer technical questions from customers, and be able provide efficient technical solutions to problems.
· Prior experience with workflow or data transaction solutions preferred.
Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on a computer for long periods, and to communicate effectively with individuals by telephone, email and in person. Some travel may be required.
