As the Patient Access Supervisor, you will be responsible for a team of 15 - 20 associates. You will be responsible for integrating the department's services with the hospital's primary functions and developing/implementing policies and procedures that guide and support services in the patient registration department and related functions. Assessing and improving department performance and ensuring orientation and continuing education of departmental staff is also key. As the leader, you may recommend resources/space needed by the department and may participate in the selection of outside services. You will serve as a key promoter of the revenue service center, which strives to meet and exceed the needs of its internal and external customers.

    Education

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field strongly preferred. Experience

  • Needs hospital Patient Access experience

  • Minimum 3 years management experience

  • Emergency room experience
