Bank of America Business Support Manager in Charlotte, North Carolina

Job Description:

The Finance and Resource Lead role provides resource management support to a large team within Global Information Security. Candidate must possess excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Must be able to quickly understand the processes used for associate and contract labor management, invoicing, staffing and financials. The ability to maintain and track high volume detail on a daily basis as well as to be able to distill that information and effectively present it to leadership partners at varying levels is key. This position requires strong relationship management skills to interact with senior leadership, managers and staff throughout the organization; as well as with Human Resource and Finance partners outside the organization.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Planning and forecasting for all contract labor and full-time associate resources

  • Managing contractor requests and approval workflow

  • Completing analysis and reporting on key metrics (attrition, co-employment, disposition planning, manager satisfaction)

  • Managing and tracking of financial obligations for professional services and maintenance

  • Serving as the SME for key applications such as Fieldglass and Ariba

  • Highly organized and motivated self-starter who can deliver results with minimal direction

  • Excellent relationship, team building and facilitation skills with the ability to drive collaboration across diverse groups

  • Strong leader with the ability to proactively anticipate problems and execute solutions

  • Proficient communicator who instills confidence with executives and their directs

  • Able to balance multiple and competing priorities in an extremely fast paced environment

  • Develops and improves upon procedures, processes and routines while ensuring compliance

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Power Point, Word). Specifically:

  • Well-versed in Excel worksheet development and maintenance with the ability to use excel formulas to analyze, track compare and present information

  • Ability to effectively present information in Power Point

  • Experience in Business operations / Business Support

  • Experience with SharePoint site maintenance

  • Experience with staffing services (full-time associates or contract labor)

  • Experience with key Bank of America applications (e.g. Ariba, Fieldglass, VIPR, CA PPM)

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Information Security competency: Has a foundational understanding of information technology and security concepts.

  • Experience with contract labor processes at Bank of America

  • Experience with SharePoint site maintenance and development

  • Project Management Experience

  • Experience with key Bank of America applications (e.g. Ariba, Fieldglass, VIPR, CA PPM)

Enterprise Role Overview:

Manages diverse administrative functions usually for a very large, complex department or business unit. Functions managed may include: financial control/budgeting and consolidation, personnel processes, audit/compliance, premises, and coordination of certain projects, associate training, service quality, process improvement, business continuity, or communication. May consult with senior management to define and manage projects that encompass and impact many associates. Requires a thorough knowledge of the department or business unit's functional area or products. Working knowledge of general bank policies, programs and procedures and financial/accounting practices. May have full management responsibility over a team or may manage one level of managers.
