Job Description:

The Corporate Recruiter is part of Global Human Resources Talent Acquisition. The primary focus of our team is to source, recruit and hire passive, top performing mortgage talent from competitors. Our business partners include Home Loans Retail Sales executives and managers, HR, comp and on-boarding partners. Key priorities for our team are achieving aggressive monthly gross hiring targets, partnering with the LOB to lead and coach recruiting activities as well as demonstrating executive presence with our candidates.

Responsibilities include:

  • Own and drive the full lifecycle process for Lending Officers (LO)

  • Manage the client and candidate relationship from end to end

  • Provide client with consultative recruitment service including market intelligence, research, sourcing, candidate development and assessment, and closing candidate offers

  • Provide qualified candidate slates to hiring managers that ensure diverse candidate populations

Enterprise Role Overview

Independently manages the search and selection process for professional, sales and management, technical, and other niche skill positions. Manages the full lifecycle of staffing processes; to include networking and pipelining. Engages and leverages business partners, such as Human Resource Managers, Relationship Managers, and Leadership Development to achieve results and deliver on Staffing plans. Individual contributor role with 3-5 years of recruiting experience.

Required Skills

  • 3 -5 years of professional level recruiting experience; previous Mortgage Sales experience in recruiting Branch Managers, Leading Officers, and sales support roles preferred.

  • Proven ability to demonstrate strategic thinking, facilitation, client service orientation, leadership, influence, teamwork and collaboration.

  • Must be able to develop candidate sourcing strategies (commission only hires), cold calling, candidate assessment through in depth behavioral based interviews, management of the end-to-end recruiting process, offer construct and negotiation, etc.

  • Must have client management experience with strong credibility, presence and the ability to influence executives and provide consultative services.

  • Must have strong communication skills both oral and written, including the ability to explain results of complex analysis at a level that resonates across many different audiences

  • Must have an ability and desire to stay abreast of market conditions.

  • Experience providing fact based and candid assessments of talent and making clear recommendations.

  • Use innovative techniques to meet the staffing needs of the business while taking a broad perspective on strategic sourcing to meet workforce needs.

  • Deftly manage salary negotiations from pre-qualifying to close.

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience utilizing applicant tracking systems

  • Front line acumen of the LOB supported, including an understanding and ability to articulate specifics regarding leadership, priorities and etc.

  • Demonstrated leadership and initiative.

  • Strong knowledge of the Talent Acquisition/Hiring process.

  • Proven experience managing multiple competing priorities simultaneously, strong prioritization and time management skills, self-directed Result-oriented.

  • Previous experience developing concise and effective presentations, assimilating complex data into a results-based story and effectively presenting the results.
