Bank of America Cyber Security Post Incident Review Problem Manager in Charlotte, North Carolina
Position will be within the Cyber Security Operations team with a focus on Post Incident Review (PIR) / Problem Management (PM). A successful candidate in this role will work closely with the Incident Management teams as well as the Security Control Owners in order to perform root-cause-analysis and post incident review. The result of which will be a series of lessons learned as well as actions associated with these. These actions will then be tracked and reported over time along with trends on specific failure types.
5+ years of experience managing incident response in a mission critical environment
Proven ability to communicate effectively with both IS technical staff (in technical language) and with business customers (non-technical language)
Fluent writing and communication skills in English.
Demonstrated ability to appropriately utilize delegated authority to influence and direct in a matrix environment.
Analytical ability to identify underlying issues from numerous sources.
Ability to report trends and patters in an manner consumable for executive team
Have a passion for leading resolution of critical problems and motivating team members
ITIL Foundations and HDI certification a plus
Six Sigma certification or experience a plus
Complex, large enterprise business environment experience a plus
Ability to create MS Excel pivot tables to analyze and present data.
Enterprise Role Overview:
As an experienced professional, provide advice to client management with regard to moderately complex security issues. Assists in the review, development, testing and implementation of security plans, products and control techniques. Coordinates the reporting data security incidents. Provides technical support to the client and management and staff in risk assessments and implementation of appropriate data security procedures and products. Monitors existing and proposed security standard setting groups. State and Federal legislation and regulations. Identifies and escalates changes that will affect information security policy, standards and procedures. Executes security controls to prevent hackers from infiltrating company information or jeopardizing e-commerce programs. Researches attempted efforts to compromise security protocols. Administers security policies to control access to systems and maintains the company firewall. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. Work leadership may be provided by assigning work and resolving problems. Typically 5-7 years of IT experience.
