Enterprise Compliance Program Specialist – Global Human Resources Compliance

The Global Human Resources (GHR) Compliance team is part of the Enterprise Compliance organization. The primary focus of our team is compliance oversight of GHR to include providing compliance coverage for GHR relationships with third party vendors. This incumbent will play a lead role in executing the compliance oversight model for vendors supporting GHR. The job responsibilities will support the requirements of the Global Compliance Policies and Third Party Program Requirements.

Required Responsibilities

  • Provide vendor compliance oversight of the GHR Control Function to ensure the company meets its compliance obligations with respect to processes executed by third parties.

  • Engagement and partnership with third party stakeholders (i.e. Enterprise Area of Coverage compliance team; Global Procurement Services; GHR Third Party Governance and Control team; GHR Vendor Managers; Enterprise Independent Testing Team); to deliver on the Third Party Program requirements for Frontline Unit/Control Function Compliance Officers.

  • Engage in Plan, Source and Manage Phase of the Third Party Program for GHR third party relationships, including but not limited to: approval of purchasing and outsourcing strategies and deal risk assessments; review of vendor performance metrics, scorecards, and quality plans; ensuring appropriate vendor training assignments and alignment of applicable laws, rules and regulations to GHR vendors.

  • Provide compliance support for vendor governance routines within GHR and with individual critical and high risk vendors.

  • Facilitate and design monitoring and testing of GHR vendor relationships to ensure compliance with relevant laws, rules, and regulations. Socialize feedback and insight to management, audit, and lines of business regarding testing results and trends.

  • Heavy emphasis on reporting metrics that assess compliance risks for GHR vendor activities.

  • Develop an understanding of laws, rules and regulations aligned to GHR processes and vendor activities managed by GHR. Collaborate with Regulatory Change Specialists to ensure regulatory changes are appropriately managed by third party vendors.

  • Participate in oversight meetings related to vendor activities and GHR processes as Subject Matter Expert (SME) regarding human resources compliance.

  • Participate in more strategic human resources and vendor-related initiatives as directed by management.

Required Skills

  • 3-4 yrs minimum experience in Global Human Resources or Vendor Management role.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Strong business partnering experience/skills including the ability to communicate and influence well within all levels of GHR.

  • Works independently, detail-oriented, respects and manages to deadlines and the ability to drive for results.

  • Proficient computer/software skills - experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.

Desired Skills

  • Preferred: Third Party (Vendor), Compliance, Risk, and/or Audit experience.

  • Experience assessing or supporting risk and control activities.

  • General knowledge of Global Human Resources processes and requirements.
