Job Description:

Experience with TeamSite and AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) or other content management tools

· TeamSite/Livesite 7.3.2, Open Deploy, Workflows.

· System administration for Linux and or UNIX platforms

· Knowledge of Akamai, Edgecast, or other CDN systems

· Experience with application/website/content development

Provide leadership and deep technical expertise in all aspects of solution design and application development for specific business environments. Focus on setting technical direction on groups of applications and similar technologies as well as taking responsibility for technically robust solutions encompassing all business, architecture, and technology constraints. May be responsible for coordinating teams to accomplish development in a matrixed organization. Typically requires 5-7 years of experience.

Job Specific Description:

The MCOE service supports Enterprise Bank application teams in a highly integrated, complex environment. Platform Engineers are responsible for interfacing with application teams and business customers to assist them in strategic site implementation and production implementation. An engineer may also assume duties including but not limited to:

  • Provide application hosting and support, coordinate infrastructure changes with a vendor

  • Resolve and coordinate communication of production events (maintenance, outages) to LoB/Vendors/Technology partners

  • In partnership with Hosting and Dev vendors, perform troubleshooting and resolution of production incidents.

  • Develop and enhance the processes for application management as the team adds new apps for hosting

  • Setup IIS/Apache/Tomcat for new websites.

  • Provide input for defining platform roadmap, capacity planning and application monitoring

  • Manage configuration and upgrades to the hosting environment (CDN / EMC disk / Incremental Servers / Virtual Memory Increase / eMail server)

The Platform Engineer will maintain a partnership/working relationship with the application teams and business partners to proactively modify and update sites as appropriate. They will proactively research, test and implement additional tools of value to the Platform Framework in support of the application teams and the MCOE team. Where appropriate, they will also lead efforts in process reengineering.Required Skills / Experience:

  • Strong strategic thinker and the proven ability to execute

  • Strong relationship management skills

  • Willing and able to work after hours and weekends when required to support multiple time zones and participate in On Call Rotation.

  • Experience delivering an enterprise service leveraging enterprise tools for a wide customer base

  • Familiarity with current Server OS including Win2008/2012 and Red Hat EL 6/7, Ability to perform basic system admin tasks

  • Experience with IIS, Apache, Tomcat, and other MW tools, and configurations within the products

  • Working knowledge/expertise of SQl Oracle/MSSql, ability to perform CRUD tasks

  • Basic Networking, Firewall, DNS, (cnames and a , mx, ns records), NAT technology, HTTP/HTTPS, SFTP
