Bank of America Liquidity Risk Senior Analyst - Liquidity Analytics and Integration in Charlotte, North Carolina

Job Description:

This role will focus on performing analytics on the firm’s liquidity holdings and liquidity usage, and integrating the firm’s liquidity management practices. Duties and responsibilities may include the following:

  • Provide data gathering and analysis support for optimization of liquidity across regulatory and risk appetite constraints

  • Research and develop tools and methodologies for liquidity optimization, to be applied to key legal entities

  • Integrate liquidity optimization practices into the firm’s liquidity management routines, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity stress testing and LOB liquidity management

  • Assess opportunities to integrate and standardize liquidity management practices throughout Global Liquidity Management, including governance routines, controls, documentation and engagement with control partners

  • Develop and maintain inventory of global liquidity regulations and requirements, in order to ensure consistent and efficient liquidity management

Enterprise Role Overview

Produce, monitor, and review liquidity reports. Develop processes to meet reporting requirements. Comply with and enhance documentation and control processes. Assist in data sourcing and analytics to improve liquidity risk reporting. Investigate reporting issues as they arise and escalate accordingly. Assist in defining technology requirements to enhance liquidity risk management capabilities. Participate in development of liquidity risk metrics, forecasting tools and early warning indicators. Assist in implementing new regulatory liquidity risk requirements. Develop and provide expertise in the liquidity risk drivers for specific businesses or products. Lead liquidity related projects. Create management presentations.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • BS/BA (Finance/Accounting preferred)

  • 3-6 years of financial analytical experience with a financial institution

  • Comfort working with complex financial products

  • Advanced Excel (v look ups, pivot tables)

  • Advanced PowerPoint experience

  • Experience preparing presentations for senior management and financial regulators

  • Problem solving skills with ability to question/analyze data

  • Effective business partner

  • Self-starter with intellectual curiosity

  • Experience with large data sets and data analytics
