Production Support Operator Entry Level supporting the day to day activities for our SSPM supported applications. Work activities specific to Production Services roles include Problem/Incident Management, Release/Deployment, Operational Readiness, Capacity/Availability Management, Application Monitoring, Service Analytics and Reporting, Production Governance, Triage, Associate Support, Change/Configuration Management, etc. Will work closely with the risk managers, application development team, internal business operations teams and other technology partners (DBAs, SAs, etc) to provide production support of our internal client facing SSPM applications. Providing level 1 and level 2, Incident and problem management support to our internal customers and technology partner. Proactively writing and maintaining necessary support documents. Will participate in release activities (Coordination, execution and post release activities) and work with members of the team to automate tasks/processes.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in computer Science or IT related field

  • Possesses excellent verbal/written communication skills and demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.

  • Ability to quickly diagnose the problem areas and come up with solutions and/or workarounds

  • Possesses a strong sense of teamwork and inclusiveness.

  • Must be a self-starter, motivated, innovative, capable of, providing technical solutions.

  • Adaptability and ability to work under pressure.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, engage partners and changes

  • Takes ownership, self-motivated and highly organized

  • Mid-level database support skills (Teradata, Hadoop, Oracle SQL Server, Etc)

  • Mid-level OS support with Unix, Linux and\or Windows.

  • Mid-level scripting knowledge to assist with potential automation and release activity

  • Working knowledge of AutoSys scheduling tool

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft software (Excel, Power point, Word) and SharePoint

  • Flexible to work extended hours during heavy workload period UNIX, Autosys, Shell scripting, DB knowledge
