Bank of America Service Delivery Consultant – Business Analyst in Charlotte, North Carolina

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Consultant for technology projects

  • Responsible for requirement gathering and user story writing

  • Participate in scrum meetings, translating user stories to tech delivery teams

  • Work in partnership with Technical Project Managers and product owners to execute on initiative work

  • Research and analysis to facilitate solution determination

  • Provide program recommendations based on facts and processes from the business

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5 plus years of experience in a technology capacity either in project, consulting or as a business analyst

  • Analytical and research skills

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Agile experience

  • Problem solver with a bias for action, strong initiative for consulting

  • Proficiency with Microsoft office products

  • Proficiency in User story writing / grooming

  • Capability to assist in testing

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Working knowledge of Rally Agile tool

  • Experience in financial services industry

Enterprise Role Overview:

Leads a large project or multiple projects that are significant in scope and impact. Works independently, with limited direction, and is evaluated through end results. Initiates and provides leadership, strategic/tactical direction and planning input on all information technology and client/business area issues and in the development of an IT environment which meets current and anticipated business requirements and objectives. Participates with IT management in the development of technology products, service standards and development efforts that impact the client/business area. Serves as a single point of contact and the escalation point between the client/business area and internal IT management for the resolution of unresolved problems, complaints and complex service requests. Provides the client areas with technology products and service alternatives that improve the IT service delivery process. Associates in this job code do not manage people.
