Bank of America Sourcing/Supply Chain Attorney in Charlotte, North Carolina
Sourcing/Supply Chain attorney with strong background negotiating and managing purchasing agreements in a corporate or banking environment.
Support the bank’s Global Procurement client base in the United States, with some support of global extensions of U.S.-based transactions
Provide daily advice and negotiation assistance on new contracts and advise on issues relating to existing contracts
Participate in negotiations and contract drafting as requested
Advise on contract interpretation and disputes
Manage outside counsel
Develop network of internal support partners providing expertise in various subject matters
Provide support on special projects as requested
Advise other bank lawyers and lines of business on matters of law, policy, procedure and contracting affecting vendor selection, contracting and management
Provides general legal counsel. Prepares legal contracts and documents under the direction of more senior attorneys. Conducts legal research. In representing the Bank, responsibilities will typically be limited to less complex and serious actions. Individuals in this position typically have up to six years of experience since admission to the Bar.
4-5 years relevant experience
Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
Experience negotiating and drafting corporate purchasing contracts or general corporate contracts
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required – a significant part of the function is directly advising clients

Self-starter is a must
