Bank of America Sr Fin Analyst - CTO Finance - Personnel Expense - CLT in Charlotte, North Carolina

Job Description:

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Finance Org. is responsible for forecasting and tracking the $3.6B annual expense for technology infrastructure. The team manages over 1,000 vendors in expense categories such as personnel, hardware (laptops, servers, storage, mainframe, routers, switches, firewalls); software (Operating Systems, tools); telecom (WAN, LAN, VOIP, conferencing, telepresence, collaboration); Data Center (land, building, power, cabling, cooling); services and maintenance.

Specific Description:

This role supports the personnel expense associated with CTO resources. Responsibilities include planning/forecasting of personnel, monthly reporting, variance analysis, hierarchy maintenance.

The candidate for this role should possess strong financial and analytical skills, attention to detail, be well organized to manage multiple tasks, have excellent communication skills, and be deadline oriented. Working knowledge of the bank’s financial systems desired (SAP, Hyperion, and Ariba). Background or understanding of Technology/Technology Finance would be helpful, but is not required.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree - Business, Accounting or finance degree

  • 2-4 years of finance/analytical work experience

  • Strong communication, organization, presentation, analytical and leadership skills

  • Strong business acumen

  • Financial modeling

  • Strong excel skills - ability to analyze large amounts of data and translate into meaningful analysis

  • Good communication skills [oral and written]

  • Ability to interact with multiple levels of business partners and finance

  • Forecast/planning experience

  • Working knowledge of Hyperion, Ariba, and SAP.

Desired Skills:

  • CPA or MBA preferred
